The software appears to be discontinued. I've searched on various websites, but the installation package is missing. There is also no possibility to contact the manufacturers since their website only displays a logo and an email that surely can't be used for product support. Typically, when you attach the device, the software should install automatically or it should be found on the storage partition, accessible through Computer.
Alternatively, change the settings of the application to MTP connection mode and then attach the device to PC and you should be able to work this way without the software.
I'm running Windows 10. Is it possible to do this? I want to have the music on the computer as a backup to the MP3 and to play it from there as well. Can it be burned to a CD once that is done?

Use the Settings menu on the Coby MP315 and choose the connection mode to MTP, then connect it to the PC. Your device should be available in the Computer section using its own driver letter. Explore it and copy the music from the folders to a place on your PC, then you can use a burning solution to transfer the files to CD.
I need to download the Coby Media Manager for my Coby 828. Is this still available to download?

It seems that the official website of the developer isn't providing any information about the developer. Also, it seems that the Coby Media Manager was discontinued by the developer and it isn't available to download anymore. Because of this, there seems to be no way to download the managing program for your device.
I have a Coby MP823 player. I have a new computer and if the software has been discontinued for this product, how do I transfer new content to my MP3 player?

You can still download the application through various website that hold this software, but in order to do this you need to visit Google Search. While you are on Google Search, browse to 4Shared website and download the product. I highly recommend on scanning the application before installing it on your computer.
Sound leveling is not possible because the application does not have this feature implemented. It only allows you to manage and sync music and videos with and on compatible devices.
Do you have to have the Coby MP828 Media Manager software installed to use this device? Can't find the software download anywhere since this product has been discontinued. Also is there someway it will work with Windows 10? All my music files were converted to MP3 through the Utube converter.

No, Media Manager shouldn't be needed in order to manage the contents of the device. On the device, activate MTP function and as soon as you plug it to the PC, the generic mass storage driver will be installed making the contents available through My Computer. Additionally, when the Coby device is attached to PC and MTP is enabled in the settings menu, a window should appear asking you to install the Media Manager. That's right, the Media Manager is stored on the internal partition of the device making it easier to install in case you've lost the CD or something happened with your PC.
I NEED the media master software, Formatted device then remembered the software was on it, I need a link for it and the Coby web site is a joke

I recommend Ashampoo Burning Studio Free for this operation: http://ashampoo-burning-studio-free-v-6-83.software.informer.com/
